Biography
William is a trusted adviser to a number of high-profile clients across the construction and infrastructure field including developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
William advises on all aspects of contract preparation for major construction projects, including negotiation, drafting and risk analysis across all Australian standard form contracts, as well as ongoing live project support such as contract administration. He is experienced in ECI, early works, alliance, ITC, joint venture and main works contracts across construction and infrastructure projects.
His construction experience spans over 10 years, including prior roles in London advising on English and international construction contracts and secondments to the Middle East and with Mace Group, a leading international construction and consultancy company, and more recently with Lendlease Construction.
William’s international background across English, Australian and international standard form contracts, combined with in-house experience , gives him a practical understanding of how legal risks are managed.
He is also a qualified solicitor in England and Wales, bringing cross-jurisdictional capability to clients operating in international construction markets.
