Terry acts for Australian government and major healthcare companies. His government clients have included Airservices Australia, the Australian Taxation Office, the Department of Finance, and the Departments of Health, Employment and Social Services.
His healthcare clients include major radiology, pathology and pharmaceutical companies.
He is based in Melbourne and sits within the firm’s Canberra-based government technology team.
His focus includes procurement for digital infrastructure, AI and IT solutions, outsourcing, contracting, IP, data commercialisation, data sharing, data protection, privacy (including privacy impact assessments) and probity. For healthcare clients, he has advised on the acquisition of radiology practices, joint ventures for diagnostic imaging and theranostics services, pathology agreements, government tender responses, contractual issues and regulatory compliance.
Terry has advised on complex and innovative technology projects for the Australian Government, such as the implementation of electronic prescriptions, Digital Aerodrome Services at Western Sydney Airport and Canberra Airport, Airport Collaborative Decision Making at Brisbane, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne Airports, and the implementation of a biometric liveness detection capability for the myID app.
Terry has also advised on some of the Australian Government's largest procurements. He has been the probity adviser on procurements worth more than $5 billion.
