Biography
Sanushka acts for clients across a range of sectors and industries, including resources, financial markets, technology and aviation sectors. Her cross-border practice includes clients in the People's Republic of China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and India, as well as the United States, United Kingdom and South Africa.
She is a co-founder and director of the School of Policy and Governance (SPG), director of Nguvu Collective, co-founder of the Australia India Youth Dialogue, and a former board member of the Australia India Council and former National Vice Chair of the Australia India Business Council.
Sanushka advises on equity and debt capital markets, IPOs, public and private M&A, corporate finance, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and directors' duties. Her practice spans Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules compliance and cross-border transactions with significant Asia-Pacific dimensions.
Sanushka acted as team member on the A$3 billion merger between Qoria Limited (ASX:QOR) and US-based Aura Consolidated Group, implemented through an Australian scheme of arrangement and involving regulatory approvals across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Spain. The transaction created a combined global leader in digital safety solutions.
Sanushka's specialist India focus and profile, including her leadership roles across the Australia India Council, Australia India Business Council and co-founding of the Australia India Youth Dialogue and the School of Policy and Governance, gives her direct engagement with the Australia-India investment corridor that few Australian corporate lawyers can match.
