Nicholas acts for major Australian and international banks and financial institutions, as well as companies seeking finance. His clients include Chinese and other Asian financial institutions, and major resources and infrastructure sector participants.

Nicholas advises across all aspects of banking and financial services: lending, enforcement and insolvency, including distressed debt sales and acquisitions. His practice covers resources and project finance, infrastructure finance, telecommunications finance, real estate finance, and corporate treasury activities. He also advises financial sector clients on fund raisings and structuring.

Nicholas has acted on multi-billion dollar funding transactions including a US$1.2 billion (upsized to US$1.8 billion) syndicated project finance facility. He has particular experience in cross-border financings and acting for Chinese banks and their borrowers on major transactions across resources, oil, gas and infrastructure.

Nicholas brings 30 years of banking and finance experience gained at leading Australian and international firms across Sydney, Melbourne, London, Hong Kong and Perth.
