Mark acts for ASX-listed property developers, US software companies, government agencies, telecommunications carriers and energy companies on technology and telecommunications matters. His clients include Lendlease, the City of Sydney, Hyland Software and participants in the defence sector.
Mark advises on complex IT project agreements, systems integration, outsourcing, SaaS and cloud computing contracts, smart grids, IoT projects, telecommunications regulation and competition, network rollout agreements, wireless networks, broadband services and content licensing. In cybersecurity he advises on incident response planning and management. He also advises on major Australian defence procurements.
Mark is advising Lendlease on a contract for the supply and implementation of a telecommunications network and services for two large Build to Rent developments. He leads ongoing advice to the City of Sydney on Australia's largest outdoor advertising and street furniture contract, which he originally drafted and negotiated, covering the rollout of new street advertising, furniture and kiosk assets in the Sydney CBD. He also advised US-based Hyland Software on contracts for the supply and implementation of new medical imaging systems for NSW Health (part of the Single Digital Patient Record project with an estimated cost of over $1 billion over 10 years) and for Metro North Health in Queensland.
