Biography
Maniqa acts for Commonwealth Government departments and agencies on procurement, contracting and construction matters.
She advises on large-scale, complex and high-profile procurement projects, providing strategic advice, developing tender documentation, drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on all aspects of contract administration.
Her experience encompasses all stages of project development. She has worked on projects across a number of industry sectors including rail, waste, offshore wind and defence, and has acted for various industry participants in the Australian and UK markets. She has worked on numerous construction and infrastructure projects involving a range of contract delivery models, including design and construct, construct only, managing contractor and PPP.
Maniqa's breadth of experience across different sectors and jurisdictions allows her to deliver strategic, solutions-oriented advice that is both legally rigorous and commercially pragmatic. She uses her deep knowledge of the Commonwealth procurement and contracting framework to help clients navigate complexity efficiently and with confidence.

UK experience
Maniqa's experience in the UK includes advising the UK Government on the development of the emergency measures agreements to mitigate the financial impacts resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and advising a leading global asset manager on the greenfield development of a waste gasification plant.
