Biography

Madeline acts for residential aged care, support at home and NDIS providers as well as retirement village operators. Madeline's clients include publicly listed groups, private providers and not-for-profit organisations.

Madeline is the Deputy Chair of the Queensland Law Society Elder Law Committee, providing expert advice to the QLS and developing policy positions, guidance materials and submissions on legislative and policy initiatives.

Madeline provides pragmatic advice to businesses in the health, aged care, retirement and NDIS sectors. This includes day to day advice on regulatory compliance matters as well as responding to significant regulatory notices and decisions, managing complex disputes and assisting with challenging regulatory and administrative decisions.

In the transactional space, Madeline provides expert regulatory advice in due diligence and contract preparation and negotiation.

Madeline provides sector-specific corporate governance, risk management and structuring advice, training for boards and strategic advice in managing complex regulatory issues.
Madeline gives expert advice in relation to , critical incident investigations and coronial investigation and inquests.

To assist providers with everyday requirements, Madeline drafts and negotiates commercial agreements and manages disputes including debt recovery matters.
