Liz is a leading employment and industrial relations specialist in South Australia, recognised for her extensive experience representing public and private sector employers in complex industrial disputes and employment litigation. She is also highly skilled in conducting sensitive and high-level workplace investigations, including matters involving bullying, sexual harassment, assault and other serious misconduct. Liz provides strategic advice and representation to many of South Australia's largest employers supporting them through challenging bargaining negotiations, industrial disputes and the full spectrum of workplace issues.
She advises a broad range of State Government departments, agencies, and private sector organisations across South Australia. She specialises in employment law and industrial relations, providing strategic and practical guidance on issues such as industrial disputes, protected industrial action, enterprise bargaining, work health and safety, unfair dismissal, general protections claims, redundancies, underpayments, and workplace behaviour concerns including harassment and bullying.
With extensive experience in both State and Federal courts, Liz represents clients in complex employment and industrial litigation. She is also highly skilled in conducting sensitive and high‑level workplace investigations, including matters involving allegations of sexual harassment, assault, fraud, bullying, and other serious misconduct by senior employees.
Liz is known for her practical, commercial approach to resolving workplace issues. She values long‑term relationships with her clients and tailors her advice to the unique operational and strategic needs of each organisation.
Before entering legal practice, Liz worked as a Senior Ministerial Advisor to the South Australian Government and as a Senior Researcher for the South Australian Coroner. This background gives her a deep understanding of the legislative, policy, and operational frameworks in which public sector employers operate, enabling her to deliver advice that is both informed and contextually grounded.

Advice and representation to the Industrial Relations Branch in relation to industrial action being undertaken during bargaining for State Government enterprise agreements.
Acted as one of the lead external legal advisers in relation to industrial issues arising in relation to the outsourcing and insourcing of the tram and train services in South Australia.
Advice and representation in relation to multiple complex industrial disputes impacting on the provision of hospital services to the public.
Federal Government
Acted as the external solicitor for the Australian Building and Construction Commissioner in relation to multiple successful prosecutions of the CFMEU for breaches of right of entry provisions under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) across building sites in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Undertaken complex investigations for both public and private organisations involving serious Code of Conduct breaches by senior executives including sexual harassment, racism, bullying and discrimination.
