Biography

Lisa's experience in the property sector spans commercial, agriculture and hospitality.  She enjoys working closely with clients to assist with their specific business needs.

Lisa acts for developers, land owners, landlords and tenants, advising on property specific and general commercial legal issues in respect of their sale and purchases, division and developments and leases.

She advises across the full transaction lifecycle, working with clients from the tender and purchase stage, to settlement and division and subsequent sale of allotments.

Lisa has particular experience in the hospitality sector, advising vendors, purchasers, landlords, tenants and/or liquidators in respect of requirements to apply for, transfer and vest a liquor licence and provides advice on redefinitions, structural changes and licence conditions.

She is also a board member of the Urban Development Institute of South Australia and the Property Council of SA residential committee.

Lisa's experience

Sale of farming land

Advised the registered proprietor of land, Lewis Horticulture, in respect of their sale of farming land for $32 million, to an instate developer, ID Land for stage settlement and ongoing farm use.

Buy out of building and assignment of lease, sublease and licence arrangements

Acted for Greenhill Road Syndicate on their buy out of the Business SA building and assignment of lease, sublease and licence arrangements.

Compulsory acquisition

Acted for Hertz in respect of compensation for the SA Government's compulsory acquisition of their South Road site.

Purchase of winery

Acted for Karadoc Logistic Hub Pty Ltd in their negotiation and purchase of the Lindemen winery in Mildura from Treasury Wine Estates for $15 million and advised on the stamp duty arising from asset base change from $60 million.

Licence of accommodation and event venue

Acted for Torbreck Vintners to licence their Hillside Vineyard accommodation and event venue.

Gaming machine entitlements

Acted for the liquidator of the Roxby Downs Club in the sale of their gaming machine entitlements.
