Biography
Katherine has deep experience advising both private and public sector clients in all areas of labour and employment, industrial relations and equal opportunity laws.
Katherine has particular experience in advising major clients on regulator engagement, including in relation to complex wage compliance and remediation projects. She also advises clients on employment-specific matters throughout corporate transactions, as well as employment disputes in the Fair Work Commission and Federal and State Courts and Tribunals. She has also undertaken investigations into matters involving complex allegations of bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment and conflicts of interest.
Katherine has undertaken a secondment to a major Victorian public sector employer, where she provides support and legal advice to the client's in-house legal team on a broad range of employment matters.
Clients value Katherine's practical and timely approach to providing complex advice in a synthesised and easy-to-digest manner. She balances this with a strategic and risk-based approach, particularly in dispute matters.
