Biography
Jonathon acts for employers across a broad range of industries including tertiary education, aged care, information technology, banking and finance, professional services, manufacturing, transport and logistics, construction, hospitality and retail. He is based in Sydney.
Jonathon advises on employment documentation including contracts, policies, contractor agreements and enterprise agreements. He advises on termination of employment, workplace change, privacy, regulation of employment conditions and work health and safety. He acts in Fair Work Ombudsman and WHS investigations and in all forms of employment litigation including unfair dismissal, general protections, bargaining disputes, discrimination, right of entry, breach of contract and WHS prosecutions and coronial inquests.
Jonathon’s practice has spanned employment law across multiple sectors and jurisdictions since 1996. He acts in contested Federal Court and Federal Circuit Court proceedings and appears in Fair Work Commission proceedings across a wide range of matters.
Jonathon brings nearly three decades of employment law experience and a broad industry footprint that spans both front-end advisory and litigation work.
