Biography

Clare is an experienced litigator who primarily practices in the Federal Court, Supreme Court, District Court and State Administrative Tribunal. She represents clients in relation to a wide range of complex disputes, involving intellectual property, administrative law, defamation, insolvency, and breach of contract.

She specialises in conducting vocational regulation proceedings in the State Administrative Tribunal and regularly provides advice to an independent statutory body on a range of issues including procedural fairness.

Clare is also a recognised specialist in water law. She graduated with a Master of Philosophy from the University of Western Australia in 2004 with a 50,000 word thesis "Managed aquifer recharge in Western Australia: navigating the legal and regulatory framework and opportunities for legislative reform". She has also published a number of articles in the Environmental and Planning Law Journal.
