Chris acts for public and private businesses, high-net-worth individuals and family groups across technology, accounting, construction, financial services, food and beverage, franchising, import and export, manufacturing, retirement living, real estate (including property development, management and sales) and retail sectors.
Chris advises on mergers and acquisitions of varying complexity, including restructures and sales of shares, units, businesses and assets. He also advises on general corporate and commercial matters including compliance, director and management issues, employment and contractor arrangements, customer and supplier agreements and dealings with third parties. He has additional experience in property and franchising matters.
Chris has acted on public and confidential transactions up to $200 million across a wide range of industries. His M&A experience spans listed and private company transactions, including restructures and strategic sales. He has also advised on the relaunch of the Sustainable Melbourne Fund as the Sustainable Australia Fund.
Chris's breadth across M&A, corporate advisory, property and franchising gives him a practical all-round capability for businesses managing multiple legal needs across their lifecycle.
