Brendan acts for property developers, infrastructure providers, mining and energy proponents, landowners and institutional clients on complex planning, environmental and regulatory matters across Western Australia.
Brendan is engaged where projects face:
- complex or contested development approvals;
- overlapping planning, environmental and heritage constraints;
- infrastructure servicing or staging challenges;
- regulatory uncertainty affecting project viability; and
- disputes with regulators, adjoining landowners or authorities.
Brendan advises on:
- Planning strategy, due diligence and development approvals (including scheme amendments and structure planning);
- Subdivision approvals and WAPC processes ;
- Environmental, heritage and Aboriginal heritage regulation;
- Land access, compensation and acquisition disputes;
- Infrastructure, mining, energy and major subdivision projects (including linear infrastructure and grid projects);
