Belinda acts for major Australian companies across healthcare, logistics, not-for-profit and charitable bodies, regulatory bodies and employee organisations. She also acts for private individuals in contentious employment matters.

Belinda advises on the full lifecycle of employment relationships including recruitment, selection, performance management, incident response, disciplinary issues, redundancy and termination. She has specialist expertise in conducting workplace investigations, representing clients in post-employment disputes including protection of confidential information, and appearing in Royal Commissions and inquests. She advises on public sector employment, industrial matters, discrimination and workers’ compensation claims, and appears in the Fair Work Commission and courts in both Queensland and NSW.

Belinda’s experience spans over 25 years of exclusive practice in workplace relations, including in-house roles at a national allied health organisation and a national regulator. Her matters include complex acquisition-related employment matters involving transmission of enterprise agreements across jurisdictional boundaries, WHS prosecutions arising from workplace fatalities, and Supreme Court litigation concerning injunctive relief for confidential information and restraints of trade.

Belinda is one of Queensland’s foundation Accredited Specialists in Workplace Relations, reflecting the depth and exclusivity of her practice. Her in-house experience at both an allied health organisation and a national regulator gives her a practical understanding of how employment issues operate within complex organisations.
