Adam acts for corporate leaders, listed entities, private companies and funds on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate advisory matters.
Biography
Adam acts for listed and private, domestic and international clients on corporate transactions and advisory matters. He is Office Leader of Thomsons' Melbourne office. His clients span the full spectrum of corporate ownership structures and transaction types, and he is sought by Australia's corporate leaders for their transactional needs.
Adam advises on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, corporate advisory and competition and regulatory matters. His practice covers public and private M&A, equity capital markets, corporate governance and strategic advisory. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), a Master of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, and is a Senior Fellow of FINSIA. He is also a 2013 graduate of Leadership Victoria's Williamson Community Leadership Program.
Adam has the relatively rare perspective of regularly acting on different sides of major transactions: from buyer to seller, bidder to target, funder to management team, and minority shareholder to controller. This range of vantage points gives him a comprehensive understanding of how transactions are structured, negotiated and executed across the full deal lifecycle.
Adam's dual legal and finance qualifications, combined with his leadership of the Melbourne office and long-standing relationships with Australia's corporate sector, position him as a trusted advisor on transactions that require both technical and commercial judgement.
