The Australian Financial Review has reported that Chief Executive Partner Adrian Tembel has extended his contract to lead the firm until 2033.

Adrian has led Thomsons since 2009, with the article noting he is one of Australia's longest serving law firm leaders.

It reports that under Adrian's watch, Thomsons has grown from two offices generating less than $50 million revenue into a nationally competitive player, with six offices and about nine times the revenue.

Thomsons Chair Loretta Reynolds is quoted saying: "Stability – certainty – with Adrian at the helm have allowed us to achieve the success that we have."
